Talk by Rhea Miner read by her son, Steve Miner:
My Mother, Rhea Roberts Miner's Thoughts Before the Life Sketch:
My husband Richard and I count it a great blessing to be able to participate in the funeral for our my mother even though we are in Sao Paulo, Brazil serving a mission. For over 3 years she has asked Richard and me if we would be there for her funeral. We always said that we would be there with a letter or in person, but if not, that we hoped she would come to visit us on our mission. And then we would remind her, that even though her mother died while Mom was serving a mission, many times Mom would feel the presence of her mother with her. I am hoping for that blessing.
I want to thank my family for the inclusion we have felt from them during this whole time. They have been so wonderful with calls, conference calls, Skype and making our presence known so that people could talk to us while at the viewings and gatherings. It has been a very tender time to be so far away in Brazil and yet feel like we were there. My sister Jeaneen and I had the assignment to write the Eulogy. She and her husband, Don Sullivan are in Hawaii with all of their children for their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Since neither of us could be there, we are very pleased that our sister-in-law, Laura Roberts could share it for us. Mother loved all her daughters and sons-in-law so very very much.
